Dana Grindstaff joined the staff of Mid-America Rehab of Cape Girardeau in July. Grindstaff, a 2011 graduate from St. Louis Community College at Meramec, has an associate's degree as a physical therapist assistant and will focus on outpatient care. Grindstaff is a former player for Southeast Missouri State University's women's soccer team and enjoys working with younger athletes.
Saint Francis Medical Center has named Jason Bandermann as director of ambulatory services. Bandermann is responsible for the oversight of Cape Primary Care, Immediate Convenient Care in Cape Girardeau and Perryville, Occupational Medicine Services and the urology service line, and serves as project coordinator for the Lean initiative. Bandermann also is administrator for Physicians Alliance Surgery Center. Bandermann joined the Medical Center in 2007 as a referral service manager for Services to Business. He served as practice manager for Cape Diabetes and Endocrinology before accepting his current role with Physicians Alliance. He earned a bachelor's degree in secondary math education from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's in business administration from William Woods University.
Saint Francis Medical Center has named Edward Duryee as its new chief information officer. In this position, Duryee will be responsible for directing Saint Francis' information systems strategy and operations. Duryee replaces Diane Smith, who is retiring after 40 years of service to Saint Francis. Duryee holds an MBA in Computer and Information Science from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University.
Jon Stahly was named the 2013 "Young Agent of the Year" by the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents at their annual leadership banquet at the Lake of the Ozarks. The annual award recognizes an independent insurance agent under the age of 40 who has demonstrated dedication through involvement in state or local associations' activities, through personal efforts to advance as an insurance professional, and through involvement in community activities. Stahly is a commercial lines broker with W.E. Walker-Lakenan in Cape Girardeau. Stahly graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in mass communications and a minor in sales before joining the agency in 2004. He is past chair of the MAIA Young Agents Committee and a member of the Leadership Conference Committee.
