Dr. Jeffrey A. Biskup, an anesthesiologist, recently joined Southeast Hospital's medical staff. Biskup is affiliated with Southeast Anesthesiology, according to a news release from SoutheastHEALTH. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Biskup's internship and residency in anesthesiology were completed at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. He also is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the release stated.

Mary Kay cosmetics representative Jan Fiedler of Jackson recently was honored for sales performance at a Cape Girardeau area meeting. Jana Jateff, a future executive sales director for the company, recognized Fiedler as a sapphired sales producer, according to a release from Jateff. Jateff also was honored as a pearl producer.
