Area real estate agents attend state development meetings
Wanda Duncan of Realty Executives of Cape County, Brenda Miller of ERA Realty, Jim and Jan McClanahan of Coldwell Banker/Abernathy Realty and Dave Soto of Soto Property Management attended meetings for the Missouri Association of Realtors, Women's Council of Realtors and Certified Residential Specialist in Branson, Mo.
These meetings are designed for professional development, legislative and regulatory policy updates, standard and form changes and training. Miller was appointed to fill the treasurer position for the Certified Residential Specialist. Jan McClanahan is past president of that organization.
Pet food manufacturer names Busch director of sales
Stacy L. Busch of Busch Pet Products has been named director of sales for Miss Autumn's Barkery, an organic pet food supplier that is planning a $100 million expansion into Southeast Missouri State University Technology Park. Busch will be in charge of selling and promoting the Miss Autumn's line of all-natural and organic products in the Midwest region. She will also be working with Internet retailers.
Kassel joins branch office of Financial Planning Advisors
Ashley Kassel has joined the J. Derieck Hodges branch office of Financial Planning Advisors. She will oversee client service operations for new and existing financial planning clients. Kassel is a Perry County native who graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and previously worked with Thrivent Financial. Her office is at 1418 Kurre Lane in Cape Girardeau. The home office is in Alton, Ill.
Sikeston financial advisor accepted into IRA group
Michael L. Parker has been accepted into Ed Slott's Elite IRA Advisor Group, for which he had to meet education requirements and make a commitment to continue IRA training with Ed Slott and Co. The training involves live sessions and ongoing instruction throughout the year from Ed Slott and his team. Parker is based in Sikeston, Mo.
Tailored Travel's Schutt earns professional distinctions
Cynthia Schutt of Tailored Travel in Cape Girardeau has earned several distinctions. She has earned distinctions in Sandals, College of Disney Knowledge, Destination Wedding and Hotel Excellence Programs.
