Cape Girardeau eye care center honors four employees

Leet EyeCare of Cape Girardeau recently honored four employees who have worked at the center for more than 10 years. Each of the employees was recognized at a dinner and received a piece of jewelry. Those employees were insurance specialist Sue Mitchell, 14 years of service, certified paraoptometric technician and certified contact lens examiner Cherie Harris, 13 years, insurance specialist Troylene Haywood, 11 years, and certified paraoptometric assistant Candi Wooten, 10 years.

Properties group certifies Kempf of Elite Travel

El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma, a collection of Gourmet Inclusive properties along the Riviera Maya, Mexico, has certified Carolyn Kempf as a vacation consultant. Kempf, travel concierge of Elite Travel Inc. in Cape Girardeau, is now a part of a group of travel agents across the country certified to provide travelers with recommendations on Gourmet Inclusive vacations to the Riviera Maya based on firsthand experience and education.

Caldwell named to insurance group All American team

Country Financial representative Tim Caldwell of Tamms, Ill., has earned a position on the insurance group's All-American team. Caldwell is among a group of more than 300 Country Financial representatives and agency managers who qualified for the award. Country has more than 2,000 financial representatives and agency managers in 14 states. This is the 20th time Caldwell has been named an All-American.

Chaffee real estate agent Cox earns Master designation

James Cox of Chaffee, Mo., has received the Master of Real Estate designation from the Missouri Association of Realtors. The award was given in recognition of Cox's completion of three advanced real estate education classes. To qualify as a candidate for the designation Cox earned five designations awarded to Realtors.

Insurance agent named to Million Dollar Round Table

Bernard Schnurbusch of Perry­ville, Mo., an agent with The Prudential Insurance Co. of America's Greater Saint Louis Agency, has been named a qualifying and life member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an organization of the life insurance industry.

Brugger named rookie of the month

Randy Brugger of Cape Girardeau has been named Rookie of the Month for March in Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial's Missouri East Region. The honor is given to a full-time representative who has been with the company for less than three years and leads the region in production.

Moss joins staff of Realty Executives

Katie Moss has joined the staff at Realty Executives of Cape County. Moss has been a resident of Jackson for more than 20 years.
