Brockmire attends investment specialist training course

Bill Brockmire, a registered Investment Advisor representative with Lexington Financial, recently returned from Phoenix where he attended the IRA specialist training sponsored by the Annexus Group. The training included IRA tax code changes, IRAs, multigenerational IRAs and Roth IRAs. Brockmire has been with Lexington Financial for three years; before that, he was associated with Prudential Financial for 15 years.

Clifton completes training on solar electricity systems

Jeff Clifton recently completed a renewable energy training course offered by "Boots on the Roof," a 50-hour "boot camp" on how to install and design solar electricity systems in Silicon Valley, Calif. The course included training on industrial, commercial and residential solar electrical systems. Clifton works at TEX Electrical in Gordonville.

Chipman finishes course to earn green designation

Rebecca Chipman with Exit Realty -- Thomas Meyer Associates has been awarded the National Association of Realtors' Green Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by the NAR. Chipman completed 18 hours of comprehensive course work on green homes and buildings and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.

Two Cape doctors partner with Farmington practice

Midwest Health Group in Farmington, Mo., has partnered with Saint Francis Medical Center gastroenterologists Dr. Wilson P. Pais and Dr. Rafid J. Hussein. As part of Cape Gastroenterology Specialists, a physician practice of Saint Francis, Hussein and Pais provide a full spectrum of specialty care to patients who suffer from gastrointestinal conditions.Pais earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed a fellowship in advanced gastroenterology at the University of Missouri in Columbia and a fellowship in gastrointestinal care at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Pais also completed residencies in geriatric medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, Bronx, N.Y., and in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Hussein earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology/hepatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and a residency in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. Hussein and Pais will be at Midwest Health Group in Farmington from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month.
