Sunil Mungee is the new director of physician business development at SoutheastHEALTH.
In this role, he will enhance business development and physician recruitment and develop training and planning activities related to the installation of a new electronic medical-records system.
Mungee comes to SoutheastHEALTH with a background that includes 12 years of practice management and business development. He holds a master's of business administration degree from Aspen University in Denver.
Previously, he served as an executive consultant with Southeast- HEALTH, consolidating patient forms for all outpatient physician practices, and creating a physician advisory group to ensure effective implementation of the EMR project.
"His expertise will be a valuable resource as we continue to grow our physician practices to meet the increasing health-care demands of our region while continuing to offer high-quality care, at an affordable cost, close to home," chief medical officer Matt Shoemaker said in a news release.
