Cape native elected to Woodmen chairWoodmen of the World/Assured Life Association recently announced that Jerry Boswell has been elected chairman of its board of directors. The company is a 114-year old fraternal benefit association that does insurance business in 38 states out of its home office in Lone Tree, Colo. Boswell is a Cape Girardeau native and is a graduate of Central High School. He currently resides in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Cape brokerage adds sales assistant to staffStifel, Nicolaus and Co. Inc., recently announced that Becky Unger of Cape Girardeau has joined the firm as a sales assistant. She will work out of the St. Louis-based brokerage and investment banking firm's Cape Girardeau office.

US Bank names new commercial lender

Michael Buckley has accepted the position of commercial lender at the US Bank in Cape Girardeau. He was previously a credit analyst for US Bank's Sikeston branch for about two years.
