Cultural Exchange Network, a non-profit foundation designed to promote, develop and administer cultural exchanges, has opened at Jackson.

Dr. Marvin Swanson, president of International Network for Education and Training, 111 N. Missouri St., Jackson, announced the new organization recently.

The foundation works with individuals and institutions in the United States and other countries to develop programs and opportunities for people to study, work and intern.

Members of the Board of Cultural Exchange Network include Swanson, John Blue, Odie Lingle, Paul Lloyd and Paul Sander.

Swanson has been involved in international educaiton development for about 30 years, previously holding administrative positions at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, Dupauw University in Indiana and Southeast Missouri State University.
