NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: CUSTOM CABINETRY SHOP TO OPEN IN PERRYVILLE

PERRYVILLE -- D & C Custom Cabinetry has opened in Perryville.

The new company specializes in entertainment centers and custom-built cabinets but offers a complete service in commercial and residential decorating and remodeling.

Dennis and Carolyn Hudson, owners of the business recently completed a basement-decoration project in the St. Louis area.

"We installed a bar and lounge area, entertainment center including a big-screen television, and a gym," said Carolyn Hudson.

Another St. Louis area project included a special indoor rabbit hutch, complete with a special tunnel that allows the pet rabbit to go outside to its special play area.

Hudson, a Perryville native, has been working the past eight years as a carpenter with a St. Louis construction company.

Mrs. Hudson, a Chicago native, worked a number of years in office work at Chicago and Perryville.
