ALTENBURG -- The Altenburg facilities of Timber Exports Products Inc. have been purchased by Altenburg Hardwood Lumber Co.
The new owners will start operations of the plant this week.
Altenburg Hardwood Lumber Co is owned by Dean Calhoun of Coldwater, Mich.

Calhoun also owns and operates Coldwater Veneer Inc. at Coldwater and Pierson-Hollowell Forest Products Inc. of Aurora, Ind.
Calhoun, his father and five brothers, also own and operate Calhoun Lumber Co. Inc. of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Existing personnel at Timber exports will continue as employees of Altenburg Lumber.
Roger Moser will be in charge of operations. Gilbert Bock Jr. will continue as office manager.
