Edwards Primestar Satellite Sales and Service Provider has opened a new office at 2148 Broadway in Cape Girardeau.
The company, owned by C.W. Edwards, provides sales, service and/or leasing of a satellite system that features more than 100 channels with clear digital reception.
Edwards has more than 20 years experience in the satellite business. This is the seventh Edwards Satellite office, but the first in Cape Girardeau.
The company is headquartered at Potosi. Other branches are at Festus, De Soto, in Butler County, and two in the metropolitan St. Louis area.
The business here is open six days a week and provides service for a number of satellite systems.
Store hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Dan Kurtz, who has been with Primestar since 1992, is sales manager, and Robin Christian is customer service representative.
Primestar, open six days a week, uses a small satellite dish in combination with a sophisticated receiver.
