The newly-constructed service station/convenience store operation at 2111 Independence in Cape Girardeau opened last week, and replaces a former Rhodes service station adjacent to the new location.

The facility is new from the ground up. The Rhodes company purchased the building which previously housed Godfather's Pizza, leveled the site and constructed the new facility.
The new operation includes service station, convenience store and food.
"We feature personal pan pizzas and deli sandwiches," said Gene Rhodes, president of the company.
