NEW BUSINESS ON THE STREET: PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO OPENS

Davis Photography Studio has opened at 1407 Primrose Lane in Jackson.

The new studio will offer studio portraits, wedding and other on-location photography, along with custom framing and matting.

Brad Davis, who has a bachelor's degree in journalism and broadcasting from Murray State University and a master's degree in management from Webster University in St. Louis, owns the new business.

He taught photography for two years at Shawnee Community College near Ullin, Ill., and served as marketing/public relations photographer at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for six years.
