NEW BUSINESS ON THE STREET: MAZZIO'S OPENS IN JACKSON

Mazzio's Pizza Restaurant opened in Jackson last week.

Dan Chandler and Tom Sellers are owners and operators of the new franchise restaurant, which provides delivery service of Mazzio's Pizza, Calzone Rings, salads, sandwiches, pastas and appetizers.

The restaurant has a full-service dining room that seats 110 people.

"We have a full menu," said Chandler. "We offer several pasta selections, sandwiches and a full-service salad bar."

The new restaurant also offers a pizza bar lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.

The operation at Jackson, at 2259 E. Jackson Blvd., will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Mazzio's Corp., headquartered in Tulsa, Okla., has 254 restaurants in 13 states. In addition to Mazzio's Pizza, Mazzio's Corp. operates Ken's Pizza and Zio's Italian Kitchen.
