Income from the farm lease helps defray the cost of handling waste materials to other sites.

The Golden Gate Division is the former Southern Clay Co., which has been in operation more than 35 years.

Over the past 15 years, wastes firm the mining process have been virtually eliminated and a yearly reclamation program established.
