Cape Girardeau branch receives Power Award

Manpower Inc. announced the recipients of the Manpower Power Award, recognizing individuals and operations across the company's network of 4,400 offices in 73 countries for outstanding performance in 2006. The Cape Girardeau branch office received the Manpower Power Award for outstanding performance.

Chapter of Realtors group chartered

The Southeast Missouri chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors was chartered March 20. Forty-four members and guests attended the event, which was a luncheon at the Elks Club in Cape Girardeau. Edwina Conley, regional vice president for Missouri, chartered the local group, and Bonnie Schumacher, WCR 2007 president for Missouri, introduced and installed the 2007 Southeast Missouri chapter officers. Also attending were other state and local officers of other local chapters. The Women's Council of Realtors is a network of Realtors and affiliates.

Jackson Manor adds new service

Jackson Manor has announced that it now offers VitalStim Therapy. The therapy is a specialized form of neuromuscular electrical stimulation, specifically designed to treat swallowing disorders.
