The core group of berserkos at DNR headquarters in Jefferson City are gearing up to oppose construction of a new lake and power plant near Lesterville.

Quite recently, the DNR has focused its anti-business, anti-jobs mentality on opposing construction of a new cement plant in Ste. Genevieve County, which represents about 200 local jobs there.

Now they are gearing up to oppose construction of a Union Electric power plant near Lesterville because they are afraid this lake would detract from the beauty of the hiking experience that causes the hearts of the Sierra Clubbers to go pitter-patter.

Bottom line is this: the DNR has historically shown itself to be an extreme liability and not an asset to the health and social welfare of Missourians.
