Linda Puchbauer, business banker and relationship manager with NationsBank at Jackson, recently received the 1999 Missouri Banker Association Bank Leadership Award.
The award recognizes outstanding career and community involvement achievements of Missouri bank officers from the junior or middle levels of bank management.
Puchbauer's award included a $500 U.S. Savings Bond from the MBA and $500 savings bond from the Midwest Independent Bank of Jefferson City.
Puchbauer started in banking in 1978 and was promoted to business banker in July 1997.
She is a member of the Cape Girardeau and Jackson chambers of commerce and serves as chair of the Jackson Chamber Public Relations Committee.
Puchbauer also recently received the "Midwest President's Award," for being ranked among the top 10 percent in the Midwest for business banking.
