Steve Duke of Sikeston was recently certified as a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
Duke, who is observing his 30 anniversary with the Missouri Department of Transportation, has served as the Southeast District coordinator/planner more than three years.
His responsibilities include assisting the local public agencies with planning, programming and plan development of country bridge replacements and city street projects eligible for federal funding.
AICP certification ensures that a planner meets the highest standards in the planning profession.
