Dr. Bernard Burns of Orthopaedic Associates, 48 Doctors' Park, recently attended the 61st annual assembly of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation held at Washington.
Burns participated in an educational program featuring new research and clinical updates in spine and joint rehabilitation, arthritis, fibromyalgia, sleep and acupuncture.
The assembly was held in conjunction with the 13th World Congress of the International Federation of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Burns has practiced physical medicine and rehabilitation in Cape Girardeau for more than three years. He is affiliated both with St. Francis Medical Center and Southeast Missouri Hospital.
