BUSINESS PERSONNEL: NAMED SALES MANAGER

Jeffrey L. Bierman of Jackson has been named regional sales manager for the Southeast Missouri-Southern Illinois region at Alliance Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Bierman will manage account executives, enrollment representatives, account and sales support staff in the area.

Bierman, who has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University, joined Blue Cross Blue Shied in 1995. He previously worked for Optioncare, a home infusion company in Cape Girardeau. Before that, he served as vice president of marketing for Capital Bancorporation Inc. of Cape Girardeau.
