William R. Schott, a certified public accountant and managing partner of Schott & Van de Ven, Certified Public Accountants, recently attended the National Tax Institute 2000 Conference in Santa Fe, N.M.
Schott attended classes on the latest business tax development and bench-marking strategies for business operations. He also attended seminars on the estate, gift and retirement planning services during the week-long conference.
Schott, who has completed 40 years as a practicing CPA, was recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Schott & Van de Ven, was founded in 1959, and is headquarters at 1020 N. Kingshighway Suited D, Cape Girardeau. The firm has satellite offices in Marble hill, Mo., and Marion, Ill.
