Dr. Walter C. Barnes of Immediate Health Care recently attended the American Occupational Health Conference in New Orleans, La.
The eight-day meeting of occupational health professionals included postgraduate seminars, scientific sessions, industrial tours, exhibits and an annual meeting of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Topics included occupational and environmental cancer, primary injuries of the hand, myofascial pain in work-related musculoskeletal disorder, travel medicine and other topics.
The group is an international society of more than 7,000 doctors in occupational medicine.
