Cathi Schlosser has joined Workforce Inc., 2520 William St., as director of personnel.
Her appointment was announced recently by Joe Rozier, director of Placement at Workforce.
Schlosser previously worked for LDD Inc. and later with MVP Communications where she served as manager of the customer service department.
Workforce, a regional employment company, has offices in Cape Girardeau, Farmington, Perryville and Ste. Genevieve.
Michael R. Smythe has joined KFVS-TV as general sales manager.
Smythe, who has a master's degree in broadcasting from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, has served as general manager in the Greenville, N.C., television market. He had also served as general sales manager of WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio, and as vice president of the Midwest of the Television Advertising Bureau in Chicago.
Shirley Gregory, Dianna McFarland, Pam Brown and Debbie Groves, all of Cape Girardeau, have joined Capital Hill Realty, 619 N. Broadview.
All are members of the Cape Girardeau County Multiple Listing Service, Cape Girardeau Board of Realtors, Missouri Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and all have attended V.I.P. and finance training.
Gregory has been in real estate 11 years and is a multimillion-dollar seller. McFarland has been involved in the real-estate business for four years and is a multimillion-dollar producer.
Brown has four years experience in real estate. Groves, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, has two years experience in real estate.
Bill Stovall is new president of the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors.

Dorothy Miller of Capitol Hill Realty, was named 1998 "Realtor of the Year" during the installation meeting.
Kevin Dillon of McClure, Ill., and general manager of Cape West 14 Cine at Cape Girardeau, has been honored by Wehrenberg Theatres as "Most Outstanding Showman of the Year" for 1998, in recognition of his entertainment excellence.
Dillon, a graduate of Shawnee High School and of Southeast Missouri State University, with a degree in business administration, has been with Wehrenberg Theatres 13 years.
Wehrenberg Theatres has 31 theaters with 236 screens in Missouri, Illinois and Arizona, including Cape West 14-Cine, and West Park 4-Cine.
Debra K. Johns, audit supervisor with Schott & Van de Ven, Certified Public Accounts, recently attended a class for continuing educaiton through the Missouri Society of CPAs.
Johns, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, has been an accountant since 1981. She specializes in accounting and auditing services for hospitals, health care facilities, universities, retailers and local governments. She attended the class, "Solving Complex Single Audit Issues for Government and Nonprofit Organizations."

Rosemary McAllister, a Creative Memories' consultant, has become a Creative Memories unit manger.
McAllister of Cape Girardeau established her Creative Memories business in 1995.
Creative Memories specializes in photo-safe scrapbook albums, mounting products and decorative supplies.

Dee Ann McKinney of St. Charles has accepted the new position of marketing administrator. She has extensive experience in production, media buying, advertising, creative design and management.
Jeff Wohlt of Jefferson City has been named domestic marketing coordinator.
