Kathy Webb has been promoted to accounts payable specialist at Dana Corp.'s Spicer Axle Division, 2075 Corporate Circle.

Webb joined Dana in June 1993 as a cell technician in Department 500. She is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Kenneth E. Volkerding, a Lutheran Brotherhood district representative from Jackson, has qualified for membership in the Million Dollar Round Table. Volkerding is affiliated with Lutheran Brotherhood's Pals Financial Group in St. Charles.

About 15 percent of Lutheran Brotherhood's 1,500-member field force qualified for the million-dollar award for 1998 through high-level client service and sales production. Only 6 percent of the world's life insurance agents qualified for the award for the same period.

The award is an independent, international association of nearly 19,000 life insurance agents. Lutheran Brotherhood, a fraternal benefit society, offers financial products and services to Lutherans nationwide.

J. Kensey Russell, formerly of Cape Girardeau and now of Chillicothe, has been named president-elect of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. The group has more than 2,100 members and is headquartered in Jefferson City.

Russell is manager of the Chillicothe branch office of Shafer, Kline and Warren Inc. From 1985 to 1996, Russell was city engineer in Cape Girardeau.

He holds a bachelor's degree in geological engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and an master's degree in public administration from Southeast Missouri State University.
