Jeffrey W. Williams, formerly of Cape Girardeau, has accepted a position as quality leader with GE International-Avis Fleet Services in Brussels, Belgium.
Williams is a 1980 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School where he was an AFS foreign exchange student in Vienna, Austria, during the summer between his junior and senior years.
He graduated in 1984 from Westminster College in Fulton with a degree in business administration and French. He spent a semester abroad at the Institute of European Studies in Paris. He obtained his master's degree in international business and French from the University of South Carolina.
He has been employed at GE Capital in Houston, Texas, for 11 years in various management positions. He and his wife, Nancy, and daughter, Diane, expect to be in Brussels for three years.
Denise Pittman has joined Capaha Bank, 3168 William, as a loan associate.
Pittman of Cape Girardeau has more than 11 years of banking experience in the Southeast Missouri area. She previously worked at NationsBank, where she was in loan operations for six years, serving as regional service liaison the past six months.
Pittman is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, with a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in accounting.
Darrell Aufdenberg has joined NationsBank as relationship manager.
Aufdenberg, who will be responsible for agriculture lending in the Cape Girardeau area, previously worked for the Cooperative Service Center for 22 years.
He is a board member of the SEMO Cattleman's Association, secretary-treasurer of Jackson Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Cape County University of Missouri Extension Council and the beef superintendent of the SEMO District Fair.
Gary Lynch and Roger Moore will specialize in commercial real estate for the new Coldwell Banker Commercial Hamilton Realty Division of Coldwell Banker Hamilton Realty.
Lynch and Moore are longtime Southeast Missouri residents.
Lynch of Cape Girardeau has completed courses in general real estate practice, finance, relocation and buyer representation and is taking courses leading to the certified commercial investment designation.
Prior to real estate, Lynch worked for Southeast Missouri State University and the Cape Girardeau Public School District as an educator, football coach and athletic director.
Moore of Perryville has been active in the Missouri Association of Realtors Commercial Division. He is taking classes to obtain the accredited land institute designation.
Moore has 20 years of experience with Citizens Electric and has served as general manager of three manufacturing plants. He served as a board member for Perry County Memorial Hospital, Patterson Nursing Home and Miner Lumber Co.
Coldwell Banker Hamilton Realty has expanded its business services, to include a full line of commercial services under the name, Coldwell Banker Commercial Hamilton Realty. The company has been involved in residential and commercial sales in the Cape Girardeau area for more than 15 years.
Jane Harte, manager of AAA Travel Agency, 1903 Broadway, has completed special training to qualify as a certified small-ship specialist.
The certification was issued by Alaska Sightseeing-Cruise West.
Seven Dana Corp. employees have attended the "Change in the Work Place" seminar sponsored by SEMO Regional Training Group and the Cape Girardeau Area Vocational School.
