Bank of Missouri officers were elected during the bank's annual shareholders meeting.
Douglas M. Watson was elected community bank president of the Bank of Missouri at Cape Girardeau. Other officers are Kathy Roth, branch operations officer; Narvol A. Randol Jr., vice president; John Thompson, vice president; Barbara Burnette, loan officer; and Dawn Crader, loan officer.

McCain, who is dispatched by Bootheel Specialized Carriers in Gordonville, an agent for Greentree, recently finished fifth in a contest of trailer-tractor flatbed contractors throughout the nation, based on gross revenue and safety compliance.
William Nitsch of Sedgewickville has been appointed to the Missouri Farm Bureau's 10-member, promotion and education committee.
Nitsch and his wife, Kristi, operated a cow-calf farming operation.
Nitsch is serving as Bollinger County Farm Bureau president and is membership chairman. He has been a member of the Missouri Farm Bureau resolutions committee. The Nitsches are past recipients of the Bollinger County Farm Family of the Year award.
Sashi S. Glasscock has received certification as an orthotist.
Glasscock, employed by Cape Prosthetics-Orthotics Inc., 44 Doctors Park, received his certification from the Board for Orthotist Certification, after completed all requirements for the program.
An orthotist engages in evaluating, measuring, designing, fabricating and fitting external orthotic devices or braces to prevent or correct weaknesses in movable parts of the body.
Matthews D. Cobb has received certification in prosthetics.
Cobb, employed by Cape Prosthetics-Orthotics Inc., 44 Doctors Park, is manager of the Kentucky branch office at Paducah. He received his certification from the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics Inc., completed all requirements for the program, and recently passed the national certification examination.
A certified prosthetist engages in evaluating, measuring, designing, fabricating and fitting external prosthetic devices or artificial limbs.
Trisha Wischmann of Trisha's Bed & Breakfast, Tea Room & Gifts, 203 Bellevue, Jackson, recently attended the 1998 Innkeepers' EXPO International at New Orleans.
Trisha's Bed & Breakfast, established in 1988, was one of the first bed and breakfast operations in Southeast Missouri.
A wide range of subjects was discussed during the four-day Expo, including sessions on "Boosting Profits" and "Fashioning an Elegant Afternoon Tea."

Dr. Paul Keys, dean of the College of Heath and Human Services at Southeast Missouri State University, has completed requirements for certification as a certified social work manager.
Candidates must have demonstrated competency in a number of areas, including advocacy, contemporary, ethics, evaluation, financial development and management, public-community relations and marketing, and staff development and training.
Candidates must also have a degree from an accredited school of social work and experience as a human service program manager.
David Mitchell, Rhonda Turner, Chad Huckstep and Paul Meiderhoff have received promotions by Dana Corp.'s Spicer Axle Division.
Mitchell was promoted to process engineer on D Shift, over Department 400. Mitchell has been with Dana since April 1995.
Turner was promoted to the position of QS9000 coordinator. She started with Dana in January 1992 and was promoted to engineer staff secretary in December 1994.
Huckstep, who joined Dana in August 1996, has been promoted to cell technician in Department 600, and Meiderhoff, who joined Dana in April, has been promoted to Level IV maintenance technician.
