Lonnette M. "Lonnie" Schwent, accountant with Schott and Van de Ven, Certified Public Accountants, has completed specialized training through the Missouri Society of CPA's.
Schwent has been an auditing specialist with Schott and Van de Ven since 1996 and is a member of the Cape Girardeau Jaycees.
Betty McCulley has purchased Maple Crest Manor and Frederick Street Manor, Residential Care Facilities II in Cape Girardeau. Chris Austin has been named new administrator of the facilities.
Jean Ann Rice, manager of Professional Fashion Uniforms in Cape Girardeau, has completed requirements to become a certified fitter for Jodee Bras and Prosthesis for mastectomy patients.
A certified bra and prosthesis fitter is trained to fit the after-mastectomy patient for proper balance and a comfortable fit and look.
She has been an employee at Professional Fashion Uniforms since 1993.
Gary Siebert has joined the Hahs District Agency in Cape Girardeau as a life insurance agent.
He will provide personal, business and estate planning using Northwestern Mutual Life products.
Before joining Northwestern Mutual, he owned Window Coverings Specialists in Jackson.
He resides in Jackson with his wife and daughter.
The Hahs District Agency serves Southeast Missouri through offices in Cape Girardeau, Sikeston and Farmington.
Ron Eifert of Chaffee was named husband of the year by the Jana Jateff unit with Mary Kay Cosmetics at their year-end awards' night.
Most improved consultant was Julie Wehmeyer of Chicago. She also received the Miss Mary Kay Enthusiasm award, Rookie of the Year award and was queen of wholesale.
Most consistent consultant was LaDonia Begs of Jackson. Deana Gray of Benton received the Mary Kay Image award and Mary Heisserer was Miss Go Give for the year.
First runner-up in the wholesale was Sarah Lah of St. Louis; Second runner-up was Kay Waller of Cape Girardeau; third runner-up was Beggs; fourth runner-up was Shirra Geller of Chicago; and fifth runner-up was Heisserer. Queen of recruiting was Lah.
Tanner joins rehab team
Neal Tanner, physical therapist, has joined the staff of St. Francis Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Tanner was co-owner of Human Performance Center, a practice he sold in 1992, and for the past eight years worked as the spine coordinator for Healthsouth Inc.
Tanner holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from St. Louis University, a master's degree in public health administration and a physical therapy degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
