Spartech Corp. has announced the purchase of the net assets of Prismaplast Canada Ltd. (Plasticolour), a manufacturer of color concentrates and specialty compounds, located in Montreal, Quebec. Spartech Corp. has announced the purchase of the net assets of Prismaplast Canada Ltd. (Plasticolour), a manufacturer of color concentrates and specialty compounds, located in Montreal, Quebec.

Plasticolour has annual sales of about $10 million.
Spartech, headquartered in St. Louis, includes two operations in Cape Girardeau -- Spartech Plastics, 2500 Spartech Drive, and Spartech Compounding on Nash Road -- has 36 facilities.
