More than 200 farmers and agribusiness representatives are expected to attend the annual Missouri Rice Farm Field Day on Thursday at the Missouri Rice Research Farm near Glennonville.
New rice varieties, new herbicides and applications are among topics to be discussed during the daylong event, which starts with registration at 8 a.m. Four walking tours will start at 8:30.
The Missouri Rice Research and Demonstration Farm is on Highway J in northern Dunklin County, a mile east of Glennnonville and eight miles west of Malden.
