BUSINESS MEMO: NATIONAL HONOR

The Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Mississippi River Valley and Money Management International Personal Money Management Guide have received a Crystal Award of Distinction in the educational brochures category of the Communicator Awards, 1999 Print Media competition.

The guide is designed to assist consumers in learning to manage financial resources and avoid money problems. It was one of 2,220 entries from 49 states and Canada.

CCCS, a non-profit community service organization which offers free budget and debt counseling to consumers, has 36 locations in a five-state area, including Cape Girardeau.
