The 10th annual Missouri Rice Field Day will be held Aug. 16 at the Missouri Rice Research Farm, west of Malden.
Research and extension specialists from Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Missouri, will discuss current research and recommendation related to rice varieties, rice weed, insect and disease control.
Up-to-date rice market projections and a summary of current government policy and legislation will also be discussed.
The program gets under way at 8 a.m.
The Rice Research Farm is on Highway J two miles east of Glennonville and seven miles west of Malden.
