Ag-Cat Corp. of Malden has signed contracts with Pan Malaysian Aerial Applicators Sdn. Bhd. of Selangor, Malaysia.
The contract establishes a new Ag-Cat distributorship that will sell and service Ag-Cat aircraft throughout the Asian Pacific Rim countries, from Japan, south to Indonesia and east to India.
Malden Ag-Craft Co., a sister company of Ag-Cat, was also involved in the contract negotiations with the sale of a PZL M18 Dromader aircraft to Pan Malaysian. The aircraft will be used in Malaysia as a trainer and demonstrator.
Ag Cat manufactures new agricultural aircraft and sells parts for existing craft.
James Krepps, president of the company, is owner of both companies. Krepps and Robert Provilat of Ag-Cat met with Pan Malaysian executives Abdullah B. Hashim and Jalaludin B. Jaaffar in Malden recently to sign the distributor contract.
