The 39th annual Governor's Economic Development Conference will be held at Adam's Mark Hotel in St. Louis May 22 and 23.
William Wolman, chief economist for Business Week; Paul Tiffany, associate professor of management at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania; and Gary Brown, corporate director of Human-Resources of Springfield ReManufacturing Corp., are among the speakers at the two-day event.
A number of economic awards, recognizing outstanding local and regional achievement, will be presented following Gov. Mel Carnahan's keynote address at the Governor's Award Luncheon, to be held at noon May 23.
