Margie Johnson, owner of Shop Talk, a consulting firm in retail, hospitality and financial industries, will be keynote speaker at the annual business conference at the Show Me Center April 16.
The daylong conference, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce's University Relations Committee and the Harrison College of Business, will feature speaker hook-ups with U.S. Reps. Jim Tallent and Jo Ann Emerson.
Johnson, who has 24 years of experience in consulting, developing and implementing business strategies, will appear in two sessions, "How to Revitalize Your Business," at 9 a.m. and "Serving the Future ... A New Way of Thinking" at 11 a.m. She is a graduate of East Carolina University, and has completed the management Development Institute at the University of North Carolina.
Several sessions are planned for participatns. Following a 7:30 a.m. breakfast and registration, a program on the Internet is scheduled at 8 o'clock.
