The menu is produced by a Braille printer, who happens to be visually impaired, in Tallahassee, Fla., and is available in more than 100 El Chico facilities in the United States.

El Chico previously had Braille menus available in some stores.

Founded in 1940, El Chico operates 100 restaurants in 14 states, including Cape Girardeau. The company also operates under the names of Cantine Laredo and Casa Rosa.
