Boatmen's Bank has made a $1,250 investment in the Southeast Missouri State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
Boatmen's recently presented a $1,250 check to Buz Sutherland, SBDC director, to help the SBDC provide small business assistance in Southeast Missouri.
The SBDC is a cooperative effort of the university, the U.S. Small Business Administration and a coalition of utility companies, municipalities and financial institutions which, together, are partners in economic development. The local SBDC is part of a statewide network of 10 regional full-service centers, seven satellite centers and 14 university extension business and industry specialists, which provide new and existing businesses with management assistance, financial structure, marketing and technology.
