Southeast Mental Health Center to hold career fair

The Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center will hold a career fair from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It is designed for those who have an interest in providing direct health care services. Health-care professionals and service providers are all invited.

MFA Oil Foundation awards grant to school

The MFA Oil Foundation recently awarded a $1,425 grant to Oak Ridge School District. The foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations that are working to improve communities where MFA Oil has a significant concentration of members and employees. This grant was earmarked for the purchase of software, materials and equipment for an alternative fuel project.

Flori Heating becomes factory-authorized dealer

Flori Heating and Cooling in Cape Girardeau has become a Bryant Heating and Cooling factory-authorized dealer. The distinction means that Bryant, a national HVAC manufacturer, will back Flori with a satisfaction guarantee for service.
