The company primarily sells Filterqueen and Majestic Defender products designed for home air quality filtration and cleaning purposes. The company has an operation in Mount Vernon, Ill., according to Chris Daly, president of Edge Enterprises. He said the new operation here would serve Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky and Tennessee. The business is slated to open by Oct. 1.

Daly said his company will soon be looking for sales representatives to handle various territories throughout the region.

The Eagle Peak Building is owned by Jim and Beverly Rust. Kelsey, who handles the leasing of the 40,000-square-foot office building, said several spaces opened up with the recent move of various state offices to the downtown Marquette building.

The new Cape business will be in Suite F, which was formerly occupied by Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri.
