LETTERS: DEATH PENALTY FOR SOME, BUT NOT ALL

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the editor:

I believe in the death penalty for people who admit to murder and have no remorse. But for the people who have the decency to be sorry, they shouldn't die for it. I don't think they deserve it.

For the people who are insane or have some kind of mental problem they should be institutionalized for, they need help and need to talk to people about what they did. Being in jail would only make someone go crazy when they actually just need help.
