To the editor:

We would like to express our deep appreciation to the YELL Foundation for the literacy grants awarded to Riverside Regional Library. Congratulations on the formation of the YELL Foundation and all the work that has been and continues to be put into this worthy project.

The YELL grants are always most helpful to our library in fulfilling one of our objectives as the door to learning for preschoolers by which we promote reading readiness from infancy and encourage the discovery of the pleasures of reading and learning for children and parents.

... On behalf of North Elementary students and faculty, I would like to express our gratitude to the YELL Foundation. Because of this program, many children throughout the different communities will have an opportunity to advance in reading literacy. Thanks to the YELL Foundation's efforts, we at North Elementary are enjoying some of the best in literature, the Caldecott winners. Again, thank you to the YELL Foundation for reaching out to the youths of our communities.

... Thank you so much for the generous grant the YELL Foundation has shared with us at Louis J. Schultz School. Mrs. Ronnie Matzat has plans to use these funds for our spring book fair. The YELL Foundation's support this year has been such a blessing to our school.

... Thank you to the YELL Foundation for the grant to purchase supplemental reading materials. My third-grade students and I look forward to enriching our reading program through book sets and activities. As children pick up books, they begin to explore, discover and enjoy the world of learning. With the YELL Foundation's contribution of quality literature, I can offer more opportunities for my students to expand their educational potential. Thanks for the opportunity and for contributing to the enrichment of my students' education. I am extremely grateful.
