Letter to the Editor

Climate is part of God's plan

Alan Journet says in his May 21 letter, "Accusing opponents of techniques one uses oneself is a debating tactic the climate-change skeptics employ when accusing others of cherry-picking." This is a description of himself. He's a cherry-picker. Mr. Journet omits the absolute evidence that global warming has been here for eons (animal and plant life evidence) and then cooling (ice age), now global warming again. These things occurred before there was man's influence.

Why do Mr. Journet and his admired scientists continue to ignore what has happened without man's influence and credit only man and our modern way of life for global warming? Is he afraid to give God credit for the functions of this universe?

I have no doubt that man contributes greatly to our current warming occurrence, but so does God's plan. God has done it before, and he's doing it again.
