Mike and the former Mary Hagen were married Nov. 21, 1964, in St. Louis. The Rev. Earl Tharp officiated the wedding at Bethel Baptist Church.

The couple has two children, Amy Sheehan Skaggs (Kevin) and Casey Sheehan, both of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren, Alison and Taylor Skaggs and Bailey, Owen and Mallory Sheehan.
