Scowden - 25 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Scowden of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Oct. 23, 2010, at Port Cape. Scowden and Lura Bess were married Oct. 26, 1985, at the General Baptist Church in Chaffee, Mo., by the Rev. Arvil Huffman. Their attendants were Karen Hagan, Gail Meyer, Sue Scheffer, Patrick Hagan, Steve Bowles and Steve Enderle.

The couple has a daughter, Katie Scowden of Cape Girardeau.
