The Schepers were married Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 1962, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
They have two children, Douglas (Emily) Scheper of Jackson and Janet (Gary) Weber of Springfield, Mo. They have five grandchildren, Madison, Isaac and Meredith Scheper, and Blake and Garrett Weber.
