Needle - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Needle of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception June 7, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church.

Hosts were their children, Bill Needle of Bonner Springs, Kan., Ellen Coats of Midland, Ga., and Kathy Elliot of Columbia, Mo.

Needle and Ruth Reichert were married June 7, 1958, at Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, Ill., by the Rev. John Shew.

They have two grandchildren, Emily and David Coats.
