Matlocks mark 50 years

MCCLURE, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Rollie S. "Mitt" Matlock of McClure celebrated their 50th anniversary with a dinner and open house Dec. 15, 2002, at Davis Hunting Club in Ware, Ill.

Hosts were their sons and daughters-in-law, James and Darla Matlock and Rollie and Kathy Matlock, all of McClure.

Matlock and Evelyn Taylor were married Dec. 18, 1952, in Clay County, Ark. They have lived in McClure all their married life.

The couple has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
