Lamberts married 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lambert Jr. of Scott City celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception March 12, 2006, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law.

Thirty family members attended from four states.

Lambert and Violet Nemmo were married April 6, 1946.

They have two children, Sharon (Ed) Shafer of Alto Pass, Ill., and Tom (Debbie) Lambert of Scott City. Another daughter, Connie Lee, died in 1971.

The Lamberts have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
