The couple was married April 20, 1955, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.

They have eight children, Wanda Clark, Dale Kluesner, Charlene Miller, Donna Stamp, Kenny, Kevin, Dewayne and Todd Kluesner. The couple has 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
