Heisserers celebrate 50th

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Louis "Butch" and Alene Heisserer of Scott City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception, dinner and dance Oct. 6, 2001, at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Heisserer and Alene Raines were married Oct. 6, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is the son of the late Louis W. and Carolina Heisserer of Scott City. Heisserer and Alene Raines were married Oct. 6, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is the son of the late Louis W. and Carolina Heisserer of Scott City. Mrs. Heisserer is the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Raines of Scott City.

The Heisserers have six sons, two daughters, and 11 grandchildren.
